Lindsey & Duncan Are now ENGAGED!

A little about the couple... Lindsey & Duncan met in College in Feb 2000, on Feb 17th, Duncan asked Lindsey to be his Girlfriend (ahhh) She promptly agreed :) and exactly 7 blissful years on, and after a fun-filled day, Duncan took Lindsey to The Champagne Bar/The Case on Hotel Street, Leicester, got down on one knee and PROPOSED! Lindsey (happlily but tearfully) said YES! and the story begins here... As a Wedding Planner/ Exhibition Organiser, I have been asked by Brides to share my wedding story, including who I personally choose for my own wedding, So I have dedicated this page as a place to share the planning of my own wedding to Brides and Grooms in a hope to give some ideas, help or advice. On this page I will give Reasons for my choices as well as as much info on a selected supplier as I can, with links etc too. I really hope this info might help you with your wedding. We originally met Alan at our first wedding fayre at Barnsdale Hall in Rutland and we've always found him to be a real top bloke! His photographs and albums are of outstanding quality and we're very happy that he is going to photograph us on our wedding day. Alan has also recently opened a Photography Studio in Oakham too, why not visit today? Other Info?  Fabulous photographs, friendly and came in at a great price for our wedding, well worth a call.

Wedding Film/ Videography   WEBSITE   Why Light Films? After speaking to Tom Wadlow of Light Films Ltd and looking at their company history in Film Making in the USA and UK Festivals etc, Lindsey viewed some of their work at an SDE wedding fayre which she thought looked well shot, clear and very profesional. After speaking further to Tom she realised that their company showed a great enthusiasm for their work and the quality of it. Lindsey feels that Light Films Ltd are the guys to shoot her wedding as they seem down to earth and full of creative ideas as well as being friendly, warm and genuine. Other Info?  We liked their website a lot, really clear about their services and prices. Light Films are certainly worth a call when considering your own wedding. xx

Wedding Dress Bradgate Brides, Anstey WEBSITE   Where did I find it? I found my ideal dress at Bradgate Brides in the village I grew up in: Anstey. They have a lovely boutique and I was there for hours! I'd not visted each and every shop in Leicester for this, but I believe once you find "The One" you should stop. Despite being asked, I simply cannot display the dress or describe it on the website as my fiance may see it! Other Info?  Tip 1: Take your budget and add about 10% on top for alterations. Tip 2: Go on a weekday, I was told by many shops that weekends are crazy and have so many brides in at one time, I would have hated that, so I took a few days off with my mum and shopped until we dropped! Tip 3: Underskirts are around £50 - £75 in stores, but around £15 - £20 on eBay and are exactly the same. (We don't suggest eBay for the dress though!)
